Oxygen Plus™ Review.
The Benefits of Canned Oxygen.
This review is going to look at some of the claims being made about the benefits of canned oxygen
Many athletes claim that it improves stamina and muscle recovery. Maybe I should have said athletes trainers.
You know, the ones who race on the field after big Johnny has taken a hit and is out like a light.
A bit of mouth to can ( of air), and a few seconds later he is up and mobile as a 18 year old on the run from the cops.
Myths or Reality.
A lot of claims from people who have bought and used the product.
Some who swear that it has helped with Asthma, or as a pick me up after hard exercise.
By advertising their product as “Recreational Oxygen ” Oxygen Plus is not occupying the same space as some of its competitors who highlight 95% pure oxygen on their product, but leaving the “for recreational use only” in the very fine print.
If It Isn’t Medical Grade Is it Useless?
Medical grade oxygen is concentrated at 90% and above, and is only available by prescription.
The composition and application of medical oxygen is tailored to your specific condition.
Oxygen Plus lays it out, that it is not “prescripitive air”, although Oxygen Plus is packaged as 95% pure oxygen.
No flavorings, additives, nothing but 95% oxygen.
Is it useless?… No…
It is Convenient
It suits a lot of people who would other wise carry a canister of prescription oxygen.
The application differences between medical grade oxygen and canned oxygen mean that canned oxygen can be only be a short term substitute for medical grade oxygen.
We all like convenience right?.
Oxygen levels in the atmosphere are at 21%.
Medical Researchers, say that the average healthy human body is not able to absorb any more oxygen into their blood cells when breathing normally.
Some in the medical fraternity have used the analogy of trying to cram more people onto an overloaded bus.
Okay, fair enough.
But, I am not talking about someone going for a Sunday stroll or a bus ride.
I am talking about people like Big Johnny. Eco warriors roaming around South America. People who struggle to keep up, while their dog is taking them for a walk.
Some Medicos Do Agree !
Many of the same medical researchers do agree that having a hit of concentrated oxygen after a workout does help the athlete, recreational sportsman / women, etc. to have better recovery times.
What the medical researchers are critical of, is, oxygen bars and the potential for people with existing lung conditions to exasperate problems they may already have, by using Un-sterilized, non medical grade tubing.
Sounds a bit like social distancing.
Bars and bars. It can be confusing. O+ Mini by Oxygen Plus – An Oxygen Bar in Your Pocket. Or your trainer carries it for you.
Health and Wellness.
The promotion of health and wellness seems to have evolved to one thing is the be all, and end all solution to our problems.
With many people wanting to get out and do their own thing, and break free of the maddening crowds.
Every other month brings a new weight loss, health supplement for your heart, blood, kidney etc.
Athlete X promotes Y brand of vitamins as the thing he (she), uses to win.
I think, hell, they must rattle like a car with flapping fenders.
I go into the health shop and see half a dozen shelves with brand Y’s products.
And the cost ! I usually walk out with nothing.
I mean, there is a pill for everything,
- Who doesn’t want to ease muscle aches
- increase energy
- concentrate and focus more effectively
- sleep better
- recover quickly from jet lag and hangovers
Oxygen Plus and Hangovers
There is some anecdotal evidence that oxygen plus helps with recovery times after a big night out. Who am I to argue?
If I buy something it is for a particular purpose.
Like the guy in the video
Endurance and Stamina.
Is often associated with health and wellness, but have you noticed how so many products in the health and wellness market, project a scene of dynamic lethargy and really, have no relevance to endurance and stamina.
O K, So What is the Point.
Where Oxygen Plus™ is of a benefit, compared to the alternatives.
Sports drinks, loaded up with extra sugars, and caffeine, which provide a short term upside, but the downside is, you need to take more to keep experiencing the effects. This will lead to health problems (usually with the heart).
I believe they are addictive. I have many friends who drink 5 or 6 a day, that can’t have a good outcome.
More likely using the so called sports drinks is probably not addressing the real issues confronting you.
Which may only be depleted levels of oxygen. If you are that kayaker,<<<<, Then longer term canned oxygen will be of more benefit than, say, half a dozen dark pink bulls after every race.
Not everything has to be out there, full on strenuous activity for Oxygen Plus™ to be of benefit to you.
How to use canned oxygen for altitude sickness
Lets be Serious for a minute.
The photos shows the extreme end of oxygen levels, and obviously this is not the intent of oxygen plus.
But, I would have a couple in my back pack if I were there.
If your a traveler, visiting places like Cuzco In Peru. Which is about 8,000ft above sea level.
The high altitude may effect your enjoyment of the tour, Macchui Picchui, and all those wonderful sights and sounds.
The locals and tour guides suggest that you chew cocoa leaves to combat altitude sickness, even offering satchels of cocoa leaves for a few Pesos.
Keeping a can of Oxygen Plus™ in your day pack, will give you a better experience, often tours like these are once in a lifetime affair, so why not make the most you can of it.
Keep some in your Car
Have you ever been driving for a couple of hours and started to feel drowsy?, you wind the window down ( depending on the weather outside of course), to get some fresh air into your system.
Immediately you feel good again.
That is the effect Oxygen Plus™ has. A burst of fresh Oxygen to depleted blood cells and your going again. If you do a lot of driving then you would know rests stops are not always where you need them to be.
Using Oxygen Plus™ can help you tackle your mental and physical goals, With no side affects.
So long as you breathe Oxygen Plus when your body’s oxygen levels are depleted, and breathe enough of it to restore your depleted oxygen levels to normal, healthy levels.
Oxygen Plus™ advises that any person with any type of health or medical condition should consult their physician prior to use of O+ products. Since O+ is not a medical product or intended for medical use, it is neither regulated nor approved by the FDA.
Who benefits with Oxygen Plus™.
Healthy active people who want better recovery times either during or after exercise.
There are many others, from Asthma sufferers to office workers who have submitted positive testimonials about their use of Oxygen Plus.
These are verified and are published on the Oxygen Plus™ website.
Although many health professionals are skeptical, Oxygen Plus does have research from independent sources such as the Mayo Clinic, Harvard Medicine School.
The British Sports Journal and others. You can See Them Here
In this canned oxygen review my opinion has shifted and I now understand why the average office worker in an air-conditioned office with artificial light, would be using it.
And why, Someone who does meditation would use it, As well as athletes, even Yoga practitioners.
Sometimes seeing other reasons people use this, give us another dimension outside of own ( selfish ? ), reasons.
And, as someone who has chewed cocoa leaves, I can vouch for Oxygen Plus benefits in the higher altitudes.
Sometimes the 21st century offers better options. ?
